Summary

Please review this page to find out if you qualify for admission to JDE101.  A link to the application form is at the bottom of this page.

Students and recent graduates from any college or university may sign up for a two week JD Edwards course held at several locations in 2016.

Where and when will the next JDE101 programs be located?

Our first Higher Education Partner is the University of Colorado Denver Business School. The next course will take place at the South Campus May 16-26, 2016.

We hope to expand in 2016 to two more locations–details will be available soon.

Do I have to be a student at host University to attend the program?

No, you don’t. Students and recent graduates from any university or college are eligible to attend.

What background qualifies a student for admission to JDE101?

You enjoy the challenge of solving business problems.  You are a senior, junior, graduate student, or recent graduate.  You are majoring in Business, Accounting, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or another closely related field.

Will students get a certificate?

Students completing the two week program will receive a joint certificate from the host University and JDE101.

Is JDE101 limited to the United States?

International students may attend any of our programs.  We hope to expand to international locations, soon!

What is the instructional model? Will JDE101 provide instructors?

Qualified and experienced JD Edwards consultants will teach two weeks of hands on, onsite classes, eight hours per day, using training manuals donated by JDEtips. We’ll be using a very recent release of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, hosted by Smartbridge. Access to eLearning self-study modules is also included, provided by iLearnERP. The initial curriculum will focus on the JDE Financials and Distribution suites.  The course will focus on an integrated case study of a real (almost) company that is implementing JDE for the first time.

We have new employees–can they sign up for the program?

Sorry, but no. The goal of JDE101 is to bring ‘net new’ students into the JDE ecosystem, not to train people that are already working in the JDE ecosystem at clients and consulting firms. There are commercially available options for training employees. Contact [email protected] for more information.

Will there be opportunities for students to meet with potential employers?

Absolutely! JDE clients, Oracle/JDE Business Partners, and Oracle will be invited to join JDE101 and meet with the students at a job fair/social event the last day of the course. Resumes will also be made available to JDE101 sponsors by email, upon graduation from the program.

Our goal is to help 100% of the JDE101 students find internships and full time employment in the JDE ecosystem, both locally and nationwide.

How much is tuition for this year’s program?

Tuition is $1,400 for the 9 days (72 hour) program.

What about meals, hotel, and transportation?

The students are responsible for these costs. We typically arrange for on campus housing or a significant discount on a local hotel.
