For 2015 we are focused on creating two weeks of courses aimed at teaching the basics of JD Edwards Financials and Distribution. The program is aimed at students and recent graduates that are interested in careers as business analysts and/or application consultants.
- Day 1: Review of ERP, common business processes (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, etc.), and an Introduction to JDE’s EnterpriseOne software (Address Book & User Interface)
- Days 2-5: 4 day detailed overview of JDE’s core financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
- Days 6-9: 4 day detailed overview of JDE’s core distribution modules, including Inventory, Sales Order, and Procurement.
- Day 10: Review and certification exam.
The JDE101 approach to learning is heavily weighted towards hands-on exercises. 50% of the time in class will be spent doing hands-on exercises, supported by step by step screenshots in our manuals.
Certification Exam: Students wishing to take the exam will have the opportunity to be awarded a JDE101 Certification credential. This is in addition to the credential issued by the host University.
JDE101 believes in a blended learning model—so we provide opportunities for classroom-based lecture, discussion, hands on exercises, and self-study eLearning.
Training materials will be provided by two leading JD Edwards training firms:
